20V Data Pulse Driving for AC-PDPs by Using Address-while-Display Scheme

Abstract

The data pulse voltage has been reduced to 20V for AC-PDPs. For the Address-while-Display scheme the data pulse voltage reduction can be achieved by applying the metastable atoms created by priming discharge to the address discharge. The cease period of 32〜100μs was found to be adequate for utilizing the metastable priming.
