Abstract
The meeting of SID'99 International Symposium and Exhibition was held on May 16-21, 1999 in San Jose Convention Center, San Jose, CA, USA. This paper reports several presentations at this meeting, particularly at LCD Technology(§22: Antiferroelectric LCDs, §28: Smectic and Bistable LCDs, §39: LCD Photoalignment, §44: Color Filters, §51: LC Polarizers), and Posters(Polymer in LCDs, LC Materials, LC Light Modulators).
