Abstract
The survey of photosensitive seizures in Japanese "Pokemon incident" reveaLed that content-dependent VDT hazards are a common threat to all who use video displays. We clinically studied photosensitive epilepsy patients, and show that an adaptive temporal filtering developed by Nomura provides an effective means of preventing flicker-trigger photosensitive seizures.
