Performance of OFDM Receiver for Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting

Abstract

We have developed OFDM receiver for Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting. In this paper, we show the IF and RF receiving performance of the receiver. The required D/U under the co-channel interference of NTSC TV signals is 13.4dB with 64QAM, convolutional code rate r=7/8. The required C/N under multipath condition of D/U=O dB is 8dB with DQPSK r=1/2. The receiver can incorporate the additional analysis function of OFDM signals.
