Abstract
We have observed rainfall and radio wave from JCSAT-3 satellite in King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (Bangkok, Thailand) from August 1999. The time-interval of data recording is 1 minute. Correlation between instantaneous value of rainfall intensity and rain attenuation is small. Sometimes there is small rain attenuation in heavy rain. In long time rain, correlation between average rainfall intensity and maximum attenu ation value is large. Correlation between maximum rainfall intensity and maximum attenuation value, total rainfall and maximum attenuation value is smaller in same period. It is also proved that there is a certain relation between succession time of rain attenuation and occurrence number of it regardless of quantity of rain attenuation.
