Abstract
Conventional video editing system using VTR has the problem of difficulty for quick response of index search and rewinding tape. Therefore, we have developed HDD based video recorder available for video editing. The key features of HDD based video recorder are recording format and DV stream control method which fulfill the requirements of video recorder for video editing. HDD based video recorder will settle the problem of conventional editing system.
