Abstract

In the rehabilitation such as the fracture patient, the training which walks by putting on the appropriate load for the foot of the side with bad, is carried out. This paper proposes the training support system which measures the load value of bad foot by a tactile sensor, and returns the feedback to put on the appropriate load. Real-time auditory feedback which does not disturb the walking, even if the feedback is given under walking and off line visual feedback which quantitatively presents the load value right after the walking are respectively implemented, and the evaluation experiment was carried out. In the auditory feedback, it was confirmed that the following method was effective. The load condition is divided into three of weakness load, appropriate load, load exceedance, and which condition is the present load, is announced and the present load reached 80% of the appropriate condition is announced as a sub goal. The learning speed was faster than the off line feedback for the auditory feedback. However, the training effectiveness of the off line feedback after the training as 100 walks was able to be achieved to the degree of levelness with the auditory feedback. Therefore, it is effective to use the off line feedback jointly using the auditory feedback in the training initial stage afterwards.
