Abstract
In recent years, requirements for the production of Hi-vision digital imaging are increasing rapidly. I think that this inclination is lead from the idea that digital imaging supports realizing many kinds of requirements Program directors have. HDTV program NHK SPECLAL "YONDAI-BUNMEI" solves the true and real face of ancient civilizations. This time, we tried to reproduce the scenes that can not be shooted no longer at present, for example some situations of constructing ancient ruins at that time and of requirement for large number of the cast. In this paper, we describe an outline of the digital imaging production.
