Abstract
Integral Photography(IP)is a technique for creating 3D autostereoscopic images. We studied the pickup method for IP when the subjects were distributing widely toward depth direction. First, the characteristics of resolution by the product of their MTFs(overall MTF)is evaluated. Next, the relationship between the overall MTF at Nyquist frequency for IP and how the pickup system is focused on the subject is discussed. As a result, by focusing on a relatively far point, appropriate responses were gained for the reconstructed images whose original subjects are distributed widely towards depth direction.
