Abstract
The internal electric field of LC cell was simulated in the steady state under the step voltage application by considering Poisson equation. The unevenness of the local field strength was drastically reduced in the analysis by taking the contribution of the space charge polarization into account compared with that without the contribution. The distribution of the local field strength was concerned for the analysis of the space charge polarization, which controls the complex permittivity in the low frequency region, because the distribution of mobile ions should become large with decreasing frequency. Nevertheless, according to the results under the DC field application, the distribution of the local field is found to be so small even in very low frequency region that the local filed can be considered to be approximately equal to the external field.
