Abstract
Enormous amount of information is available through the Internet. We need a system that enables us to select most appropriate information from the Internet depending on the purpose. Search engines are considered to be such candidates for the system and they work as entry points(portals)to the resources on the Internet to ordinary users. In this paper, we analyzed how users interact with abundant information through a search engine(Odin)in two ways : from macro point of view, by using user's access logs and from micro point of view, by analyzing subjects' eye gazes while they are actually using the system.
