Abstract
In wireless and power-line communications, affection of impulse noise must be considered to design a system other than white gaussian noise. The bit error rate much degrades because the infuence of impulse noise spreads to all carriers, in OFDM. Especially, the influence becomes extensive when a high bit rate modulation scheme is used. In this paper, we model inpulse noise by sinc function, and estimate its amplitude of inpulse noise and position by using the information of pilot symbo1.
