Abstract
In order to realize a high definition PDF, we have demonstrated a new rib structure named "isolated rib structure" that gives an actual solution to prevent the unexpected-discharge between the next electrodes compatible with securing the necessary gas exhaust pass. Here we clarify the actual accuracy for manufacturing the "isolated rib structure" by sandblasting, fast. Then we discuss the necessary rib construction to exhaust the gas. We have made a test panel with a size of 2 inches. As a result, it is proved that the unexpected-discharge between inter-pixel gap is perfectly reduced and the driving voltage can be increased up to 30V without the unexpected-discharge by the introduction of "isolated rib structure".
