Abstract

With the advance of information technology, our living environment has changed greatly. Information literacy has become so necessary for all of us that from this year, schools have started teaching information education. On the other hand, indirect communication between young people using new media has brought about weak human relationships and the number of children who cannot distinguish the real world from the virtual world has increased. These pathological aspects have become social problems. To take measures to meet the situation, education for information morals is necessary. In this paper, we analyzed the actual conditions of the use of information media on the developmental stage of children and showed they used information media tools more actively and had less information morals as they grew older. From these results, we gave suggestions that information morals should be taught successively from elementary school and KANSEI education was more important than intellectual education.
