Abstract
It is necessary to properly quantize in limited number of color to output full color image with device including the printer, etc. In previous, many method including error diffusion have been proposed to display the high quality color image in limited number of color. However, these method is problem that issue regulary striped pattern in the small change of the tone area and do not represent properly halftone in the large change of the tone area. In this article ,we proposed the quantization of the color image using simulated annealing of one of the combinational optimization to solve this problem. As a result, we obtained to the high quality of the quantization image with color image or monochromatic image.
