Virtual Wagon System : Realistic Sensations Communications between Vehicles by Voice

Abstract

In recent years, the demand for not only data but voice communications over IP network is increasing with development of VoIP. The same is true of inter-vehicle communications. Exchanging of not only data but voice bring drivers realistic sensations as if they existed in one room. This system for inter-vehicle communication is called "Virtual Wagon System". In this paper, we evaluate the virtual wagon system through experiments and consider the problems toward realization of its system.
