Abstract
With the recent broadband telecommunications networks, there has been a corresponding expansion in a videoconferencing system. It can be realized that the eyes of users are an important cue for a decision making process and in increasing the feeling of presence between participants in a videoconference meeting. In addition, simple user interface such as pointing is also considered to be a significant part to improve the efficiency of a conference. In this paper, we propose a multiparty videoconference for IshinDenshin System; a videoconferencing system in which participant's image and shared workspace are naturally merged. The synchronous pointing and gaze communications for multiparty videoconference of IshinDenshin System will be described.
