Abstract
In this report, we deal with video server systems sharing consumer genarated video (CGV) contents for which a number of simultaneous accesses cannot be expected. In a technique proposed previously by the authors as an economic constitution method, we use IP (iSCSI) storage as a container of CGV to which the distance from a video server is not limited. The iSCSI storage is installed in the individual house and is connected to the video server with FTTH (Fibre To The Home) as access line via a high delay network. Under high delay environments, we constitute RAID to improve the rapidity and reliability of the data transmission, and simulation using NS-2 evaluates streaming video performance.
