Abstract
A lot of indoor positioning systems are studied to offer a public service based on one's position information. We have studied the indoor localization system using fiducial markers. You can design the markers as you like so they are usable as interior decoration. In this system, you can get three-dimensional position and pose of your camera by capturing the image of the markers arranged on the floor. But there are some problems to use this system in the public space. For example, the decline of the marker recognition rate by the change of the surrounding light condition, and the instability of the marker recognition rate according to the kind of the marker and the camera angle. In this research, we achieved the robustness enhancement of the system in the public space and increased recognizable markers.
