Retinal Imaging Display, or RID, is the display that projects images directly on the retina by raster-scanning laser beam, and can change accommodation information by manipulating laser wave front. The purpose of the study is to examine the effects of binocular and monocular viewing with see-through RID on visual fatigue and work performance. As a result, we found increment of subjective evaluation of visual fatigue, a tendency of decreasing work performance when the RID is viewed monocularly than binocularly. We however, could not find the clear effects on accommodation response.
