Business Architecture Analysis for PDP and LCD TVs on the Viewpoint of Technology Standardization

Abstract

Investigating the difference in the business architecture between PDP and LCD TV business based on market survey data, this paper clarifies the both are to take so called integral and horizontal division of labor model respectively because the difference in the physical panel configuration can be related to the necessity of technology standardization and finally refers to the consideration about the future business deployment.
