Parametric Generation Method of Music Piece from a Color Image

This paper presents a generation method of the music piece by using the characteristics of the color image. In the picture exhibition, a music is played around a displayed picture. If the impressions both the picture and the music are same. audiences receive strong impression. Using K-mean method. extract domain information from an image and generate the melody line on the domain information. A musical piece is generated by converting the average color of the domain on the melody line into notes. As a result, the musical piece which had the characteristics of the image is generated.
