Abstract
Dynamic response of MgO protective layer to VUV irradiationand discharge is investigated by using cathode luminescence (CL) spectroscopy, thermolimunescence (TL) spectroscopy and exoelectronanalysis. The dynamics of excitation and de-excitation processes of electron and hole traps are discussed.
