Abstract
We previously proposed a study of spatial scalable coding method based on seam carving. The conventional method saved all of seam position information. However, it was the cause of inefficient coding. In this paper, we propose the information amount reduction method for a study of spatial scalable coding method based on seam carving. Experimental result shows that the proposed method can reduce the amount of information.
