Abstract
Today, an organic thin film transistor (O-TFT) is known to become a key element for realizing high-performance flexible display devices due to its low process temperature, which is essential for using flexible plastic substrates. In this study, we have directed our attention to a gate insulator, which are one of indispensable elements for O-TFTs. Here we choose a UV-curable liquid crystalline polymer as a gate insulating material, and we study its conducting properties with observing deep carrier trap levels (DTL) of the film by the thermal stimulated current (TSC) method.
