Abstract
Tai Chi Chuan is a popular Chinese martial art, practiced in all over the world. Its performance consists of complicated movements and most beginners learn the movements from videotexts. However, existing videotexts are not ideal: some of motion components can be hard to learn because of their limited camera angles and occlusion. In this study, we created a CG videotext that allows users to select the camera angles and the scene arrangements so that they can observe any motion components they want to see. The CG videotext was evaluated through user-tests, and it was found that the usability was improved from existing videotexts.
