Abstract
A simple structure for achieving low mutual coupling between two inverted-F antennas is presented. Mutual coupling between the antennas can be reduced by using two slits on the ground plane. A space between antennas can be close as λ/8 because the slit structure does not require height and only 6-mm slit width. This is good for cellular phone which needs small and low profile structure. As a result, a mutual coupling of -35 dB is achieved in the measurement.
