Abstract
Print media like books is an important source of information. However, it is very difficult for blind people to obtain the information from print media. This research aims at making a system to read out tables and graphs which cannot be read out by existing products. In addition, there is a problem that scanners yield distortion at the seam of books. In order to solve this problem, we correct the image distortion by using stereo camera. Experimental results showed the effectiveness of the proposed method.
