Abstract
In orchestra performance, performers interactively exchange the musical information parameters, such as velocity and pitch under the conduct of a conductor. In this research, a multi-agent model of orchestra system is first proposed, in order to simulate interactions among performers. Then, we describe the developed prototype system that enables users to take part in as a conductor or a player. The extension of MIDI standard to transfer the articulations for the system is also discussed, in order to track score information correctly.
