Abstract
In response to the MIC action plan for spectrum reallocation of the 700/900MHz band, the 700MHz band used by both FPU and Radio Microphone is to be changed to other frequency band by the end of March 2019. To cope with this spectrum reallocation, FUJITV adopted a policy to achieve a smooth transition and then newly developed the receiving antennas for 1.2GHz and 2.3GHz band in cooperation with the investment planning for our broadcasting facility. Since it would be the first challenge for a broadcaster to use the 1.2GHz and 2.3GHz frequency band radio wave, field measurements have been carried out to confirm the effectiveness of our newly developed antenna. The experimental results show that our developed antenna is effective to be used in these frequency bands and surely contributes to establishing the stable broadcasting relay system.
