Abstract
Advancement of digital cinema and ultra high resolution system such as Super Hi-Vision strengthen the necessity for development of high resolution sound screens to prevent the picture quality degradation due to interference between a projector's pixel structure and screen's vent holes. We developed a new high resolution sound screen which can be used for Super Hi-Vision with around 400 inch size. This screen is composed of fabrics and doesn't have a simple spatial frequency. We propose a new method to evaluate the interference between the pixel structure and screen structure including such fabrics.
