Abstract
In recent years, the auto-stereoscopic display using a lens array is studied. However, since stereo images other than the depth of a virtual image deteriorate, this stereo display cannot give us a 3D image with deep depth. Therefore, we propose the method of dividing the image according to depth using a penetration type display. The proposal method reduced deterioration of an image by generating two or more virtual image planes and can display a deeper stereo image. From the experiment result by prototype system, we confirmed that the proposal method can display a deeper stereo image.
