Abstract
We propose a touchable 3D image user interface by capturing a scattered light generated when a user touches a real image reconstructed by a full-parallax 3D display using a holographic screen and a projector. It's unnecessary to an alignment between a position of a 3D image and a sensor to detect a hand or a finger motion because the proposed method directly detects the operation to the 3D image. In the experiment, the proposed system detected the operation to different 3D image by using a color information of the scattered light.
