Abstract
In this paper, we propose a dual-polarized microstrip array antenna and the results of the prototype evaluation are explained. The proposed array antenna consists of L-shape feed circuits and 45-degree inclined microstrip antennas. The proposed array antenna achieves dual polarization without 3-dimensional structures like an air bridge by effectively using planar Magic-Ts. The configuration of the proposed array antenna is presented first in this paper. Then, the design and operations of the Magic-T circuit and proposed array antenna are described in detail. The dual-polarized operation is also demonstrated by using a prototype array antenna.
