Abstract
This study investigated the effect of visually induced self-motion on walking movement of a health person. When a healthy person walked on treadmill presenting an optical flow stimulus, we measured the change of the perceptual self-motion velocity and muscle activity. We indicated that the perceptual self-motion velocity was affected by the change the visual stimulus velocity. However, we did not confirm the change of muscle activity by the change the visual stimulus velocity.
