Abstract
In this study, we proposed a mathematical model of neuron network which concerns the control of visual attention, in order to understand the information processing of the visual system during visual search. Since bottom-up and top-down attention cooperatively perform during visual search tasks, the proposed model was constructed to have a network of bottom-up attention and integrate bottom-up and top-down processes to select a visual target based on the previous model which is able to replicate behaviors of top-down attention. Simulation results show that our model replicates the physiological evidence of neuron activities and the characteristic of eye movements during visual search tasks.
