Abstract
The authors have been researching a 4x4 MIMO system with adaptive transmission control which changes beam-forming weights and modulation schemes in accordance with channel conditions. In this report, we evaluated a transmission performance over a time-varying channel model assuming live production of road races by computer simulations and compared results between the proposed system and conventional systems such as the SISO system described in ARIB STD-B33 and the STTC-MIMO system in STD-B57. The results show that our proposed system can achieve about 1.5 times larger transmission rate than that of conventional systems with the same S/N.
