An Interactive Approach for Computer Generated Papercutting based on Line Drawings

Abstract

The papercutting fixes a sketch on black paper and clips out an unnecessary part. The sketch is drawn with white and black, and there is a role to guide a place to cut. Beginner can easily make it because it only cut a point appointed based on a sketch. The purpose of this study is to make a sketch for papercutting from a picture written by hand drawing. In addition, this study is reflected the individuality and originality by interactive approach.
