4-8 Nonlinear image decomposition of CFA mosaic images with its applications

Abstract

This paper addresses the direct application of the TV-G nonlinear image decomposition to CFA mosaic images. This TV-G image decomposition method decomposes a given input image into the two components: the TV component and the G component. In addition, this paper applies the direct decomposition approach to solve the demosaicing problem.
