1-3 A study of a high-accuracy personal authentication method using video

Abstract

We propose a new personal authentication system using video which is taken during sweeping handheld camera in front of one's face. We select the sequence of image frames as characteristic features. The proposed method employs HMM to calculate the pattern similarity and verifies its accuracy of authentication.
