5-5 A study on a method for retrieving building images with different viewpoints using SIFT

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a method for increasing the ratio of correct corresponding points in the different view point building image retrieval using SIFT algorithm. We create canonical views and match respective vertical lines based on geometrical constraints. The method improves the ratio of matching accuracy by 8%.
