Abstract
Perceived depth in protruding DFD (Depth-fused 3-D) display has been evaluated by changing width of surrounding image. Perceived protruding distance ratio doesn't change when the width of surrounding image is decreased to 1/12 and 1/16 of the stimulus image. However, perceived protruding distance ratio decreases when the width is 1/24.
