12-6 Study on Qualitative Evaluation of Overexposure in Facial Images Using Support Vector Machine

Abstract

To implement an automatic overexposure correction, a preprocessing method that can judge the overexposure status on the basis of contents of facial images will be required. In this paper, we judged the overexposure intensity (an index for qualitative evaluation of overexposure in facial images) using Support Vector Machine.
