1-7 A Decision Support System for Using Composition Rules of Photography

Abstract

A decision support system with a digital camera is presented for helping ordinary people to improve the quality and artistic features of their photographs. The suggestions displayed on the camera screen assist the user to match the composition to one of photographical composition rules. The experimental results show that the implemented system is highly effective for the proposed purpose.
