3-1 Character input method optimized to micro touch devices

Abstract

The proposed method inputs characters by touch gestures. Each gesture is defined by motions sliding index finger along edge of the display of a micro size touch device. Start position and length of the gestures are optimized to the romaji input. The method fewer occupies screen than the conventional methods.
