4-2 Video noise detection using to pattern recognition

Abstract

Burst video noise like salt-and-pepper is occurred in HDTV signal. For this noise detection, the new method applying to pattern recognition is proposed. It is estimated one threshold value calculating from average and variance to near three pixels and evaluated to be over this value to ups and downs pixel.
