Distortion Correction Processing for Rear Projection Car Displays with Various Forms of Screen Shape

Abstract

We have developed a rear-projection display system, which has various screen shapes for automobiles to fit the shapes to the design in a cabin. Its projection optical system is applicable to various screen shapes without redesigning the system. In this paper, a signal processing to correct its distortion is described.
