Abstract

Imaging devices using fish-eye lens have been in demand recently for surveillance or on-vehicle, because of wide-angle of view. However, fish-eye images need distortion correction to grasp shape or position of objects precisely. We studied high-precision distortion correction method for fish-eye image, using index value combined with height from camera and distance from optical axis.
