Abstract
In this paper, we propose a method to control H.265/HEVC encoding for 8K videos. Our method estimates motion complexity by local feature matching between frames, selects an optimal prediction mode and determines search ranges of motion vectors. Using our method, we achieved highly efficient and low computation encoding.
