Enhanced 2D Bar - code Reader Based on Exposure Control and Image Processing

Abstract

A cquisition of high S/N image is essential for im plementation of high - performance 2D bar - code reader . E xper imental results show that low S/N image s cause the readable rate to decrease even if out - of - focus image s are deblurred . An exposure control technique fo r acquiring high dynamic rage images is also presented .
